• Hello! We are Chris McClandish and Jean Michel Pelissier (center), and we run Scuba Fun Dive here in the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Martin. We both have extensive knowledge and experience in scuba diving. In fact, we’ve both been diving for over 20 years and we’ve explored the marine life in many places around the world.

    Diving started out as a hobby for us, and later, we became instructors. Jean Michel is the course director here at Scuba Fun Dive, and I, Chris, am the master instructor and dive manager. We’ve been operating since 2001, and we are proud to say that our experience and friendliness have always brought us customers. Our priority is to use our knowledge of the surrounding dive sites and take our divers on the best underwater excursion of their lives.

Scuba the Lesser Antilles from St. Maarten / St. Martin

Scuba Fun Dive caters to those interested in both sides of the island. Situated on Great Bay Marina in Pointe Blanche, Philipsburg, this company promises you a cruise ship program, scuba and snorkel gear rentals, and diving tours in the most famous diving spots. If you’re looking to linger on the French side of the island, then Scuba Fun Dive awaits in Port Lonvilliers marina in Anse Marcel, north of St. Martin, and offers the same accommodations.

Scuba Fun Dive only provides top-of-the-line equipment. The "Scuba Fun" is a 36-feet mono-hull with cabin and hard top, and is registered for 20 divers, with a 300 hp inboard diesel motor. The “Coral Palm” is a 42-feet “Newton dive Special”, with cabin and hard top, registered for 44 divers, with twin 325 hp inboard diesel engines. Finally, the "Scuba Two" is a 28-feet inflatable, with cabin and hard top, registered for 15 divers, with a 250 hp outboard engine. All equipment receives regular maintenance and the company adheres to all industry regulations for inspections and renewals.

All of the BCDs supplied to the customers are the same high standard as those used by the instructors. All of the regulators are under two years old and all of the remaining equipment is regularly updated. Scuba Fun Dive’s management team hosts the two highest qualified Instructors in the whole area, responsible for training many of the instructors that work on this island and the others surrounding it. Four of Scuba Fun Dive’s staff, including Jean-Michel and Chris, have received awards from PADI in 'Recognition for Excellence' while conducting PADI sanctioned courses.
